Here's how to get it to work.( DONT UPDATE FIRMWARE IF IT WORKS WITHOUT IT) First you pair the Nyko playPad through the Bluetooth in your settings . Now turn off the Nyko playPad it should still show up on the list of paired devices. Now open the Nyko playground app click on sync controller it should say controller paired NOW, turn on your nyko play pad and the sync controller button you just pressed should change to controller synced. And bam! Remember it has to be in HID mode. Once it is synced you can even switch the controller to mouse pad mode and even use it as a mouse.

W. T. F. Ive updated the firmware for my controller on my Galaxy S2 and now it is reading as a bluetooth keyboard instead of a gamepad. And now none of my games work anymore bc of the update. Wtf Nyko?! Did i just waste $20 for crap?!

Will keep the rating to one till. . . My games are Terraria,SurvivalCraft and Minecraft pe, will test each game on each mode and find out for myself if this app merits any extra stars besides one,which I rated early on before any updates when it was rifed with problems and bugs, REVIEW UPDATES are forthcoming UPDATE 12/20/2014. Tried the above mentioned games and it does not work for neither of them on any mode. . . bought Pool Break Pro and it works minimally,that is pull cue stick back swipe side to side and strike,there's at least a dozen different movements plus free view and Various other controls one needs to successfully execute a perfect pool game,and the playpad only has 3 moves it can execute,with jerky non precise movements, so it's an epic fail on nykos part for developing a crap app and controller,I'll say this here. . . if there were a class action lawsuit against them, join it ! They need too be taught a lesson for pushing out a controller and app that does not do what the product description states, and I had mines since it launched... No lame excuses like it was androids fault due too updates,they're suppose to work around it not other way around

This app offers little support. I am having the same issues as many others with this app. Not being able to update the firmware to enable button mapping. Utterly infuriating. Nykos website offers no support for either hardware or app.
