Comments on Oasis - Minimal App Launcher for Android
★★★★★Mara Raddatz· May 27, 2026
This is the second minimalist app launcher I've tried. I purchased the lifetime subscription, and it has absolutely been worth it for me. My only cons are probably things I could sort out on my own if I knew what I was doing, because they are not knowing how to double tap to turn off the screen and how to stop Amazon from opening itself in my pocket. I absolutely LOVE this app.

This launcher has been great for reducing my "idle use" of the phone. There's a convenient note pad and checklist when swiping right, so it's still easy to pull up a shopping list or note to self. I wish this was a default on devices.

Excellent minimal launcher with well-designed app folders and dedicated space for third-party widgets. The integrated calendar widget is great!

UPDATE: Back to being locked out of Pro features. I do not recommend this app to anyone in its current state. It is not worth your money. I really enjoyed this app for a few years. Lately every other day it seems, I am locked out of my pro account and have to reset my phone to use the pro features I paid for. I am getting tired of this, and I'm considering leaving the app behind all together.

Reduction of previously free options. Example-Removed ability to disable pay only widgets. Forcing payment for features that used to be free is never not scummy of companies, and I can't support one that does it. This and reviews of reversed payment for higher cost & glitches AFTER buying had me uninstall after years being a user. **Per a reviewer recommendation, I installed O Launcher; it's free & better, imo.** Widgets needed? Get Pro Launcher (in beta stage) for $10/yr or $25 for lifetime. ❤️

Great idea poorly executed. I purchased a lifetime subscription and got it on one device. Installed on my next device, and it will not acknowledge that I purchased it on the second device despite numerous restarts and resetting the cache and reinstalls. Apparently no way to get a refund either. The controls are not intuitive. It looks good, but it's far more trouble than it's worth.
