Comments on OBD Fusion (Car Diagnostics) for Android
★★★★☆Stephen Yabut· May 16, 2026
⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) OBD Fusion is an excellent technical diagnostic app for monitoring my 2008 Toyota Prius, paired via a Bespeak OBDCheck BLE. It can be finicky to connect if booted in the wrong sequence. It has a steep learning curve and a complex interface. Tracking hybrid data points like block voltages or inverter temps requires a paid "Enhanced Diagnostics" add-on. Still, as a scientist, I find the unlocked tracking resolution and logging granularity to be an excellent analytical value!

The BEST OBD app so far, the more complex and professional one. Torque pro is just a toy, I'm coming from Car Scanner paid who can't connect to enhanced diag, and also tested the Motor data obd just to discover that OBD Fusion found 3 times more enhanced pids for my car...I'm still in shock. Fast connection with a simple Elm327... Can even measure m/s2 acceleration in real time just as Perfecter Dino. I don't get so many bad reviews... App + enhanced diag for my Ford Focus, 24 euro. Highly recommended!!

Works with Android Auto, so you can have your PIDs on screen while driving

Ripoff of the OBDLink app. 100% clone. Just by the OBDLINK MX+ and you get ALL ADD-ONS for FREE!!! I'm not sure how this is legal, and I want my money back.

Keeps disconnecting from Bluetooth OBD2 dongle, have used this app for many years but now all of a sudden it keeps disconnecting from the dongle. They don't go works with other OBD2 apps but for some reason it quit working with this one. It will connect I'll start to try to read codes, and then it disconnects every time. Makes it unusable.

Very disappointed. I have purchased the app and the enhanced package for a Ford UGA 2008 because I wanted to get DPF-related readings. Money wasted for nothing, because I can't drop any of the DPF PIDs into the dashboard.

Great app but unless I'm missing something there is no option for gauges in Android Auto. That was my only reason for purchasing this app, and it turns out it's the same output in Android Auto as the free app without paying. The output is delayed as well so much so that the RPM is back to idle before the increase even registers. I'm using a VEEP EAK adapter too, not one of those cheap ones so that's not the issue. I'm pretty disappointed but hopeful the devs will add gauges.
