Check Engine light on, or a scanner or mechanic gave you a code you don't understand? Type it in (e.g. P0420, C1234, or U0100) and instantly see a plain-language explanation, likely causes, and the code category.

WHEN IT HELPS

• Your scanner or ELM327 adapter shows a code with no explanation
• A workshop named a code and you want to check it yourself
• Before buying a used car — understand what the stored faults mean
• On the road or in the garage with no internet

WHAT THE APP DOES
• A database of 15,000+ OBD-II codes: generic (P0xxx) and manufacturer-specific (P1xxx), plus C / B / U
• Search by code or keyword
• Browse P / C / B / U categories (powertrain, chassis, body, network)
• Plain-language summaries and likely causes
• Favorites for codes you check often
• Optional Google and YouTube links for further research (internet required)

The app works alongside scanners and OBD2 adapters (ELM327 and compatible) — just enter the code they show and get the breakdown.

WHAT THE APP DOES NOT DO
This is not an OBD2 scanner and does not connect to your vehicle. It does not read codes from your car’s ECU — you enter the code yourself from your scan tool or workshop report.
