Discover compatible content designed around carrying a torch while using your main hand for other activities.

DISCOVER OFFHAND TORCH

A torch is one of the most useful items when exploring dark Minecraft environments.

Offhand Torch add-ons focus on the idea of placing or displaying a torch in your secondary hand.

Explore the available packs and discover how their offhand torch mechanics work in compatible Minecraft Bedrock versions.

EXPLORE CAVES WITH A TORCH

Underground exploration becomes more interesting when lighting is part of your equipment setup.

Travel through caves, tunnels and mining locations while experimenting with the torch features supported by your selected add-on.

Some packs may allow a torch to be held or displayed in the offhand slot.

DISCOVER DYNAMIC LIGHTING

Dynamic lighting is a popular feature in Minecraft modification communities.

Certain compatible lighting add-ons may provide illumination around a carried torch or other light-producing items.

Lighting behavior depends on the add-on and Minecraft version. Holding a torch in the offhand does not automatically create dynamic lighting.

KEEP YOUR MAIN HAND AVAILABLE

The offhand concept is designed around carrying an additional item while using your primary hand.

Depending on the selected add-on, you may be able to display a torch in your secondary hand while holding a tool or other item in the main hand.

Available item interactions vary by pack.

EXPLORE TORCH UTILITY ADDONS

Depending on the included collection, content may feature:

Offhand torch functionality

Torch placement in the secondary hand

Torch holding animations

COMPATIBILITY INFORMATION

Offhand item support, torch animations and dynamic lighting behavior vary between Minecraft Bedrock versions and add-ons.

Some content may require specific resource packs, behavior packs or world settings.

Minecraft Bedrock does not support every offhand mechanic available in Java Edition. A pack that displays a torch in the offhand may not provide actual moving illumination.
