Great app and probably the best notepad app out there. It has optional backups, huge text capacity, note sorting and even Folders! The notes save when switching out the tab which is great for writing stories and playing text based games or taking notes and measurements. The only negative is the lack of custom color options but that is all subjective and what not but dark mode is present in two forms, Black & White and a really nice on the eyes Black and Yellow.

I've been using this app daily for at least four years, and it's become my favorite place for my book lists, recipe collections, drafts of letters to my pen pals and all sorts of notes. When a recent update caused a minor issue I contacted the developer, who made it a personal point to resolve the problem as soon as possible. The messages we exchanged were polite to the point that I'm glad the problem occurred. Highly recommended.

No ads. No in-app purchases. No premium subscription. Genuinely free and offline (privacy). I love that it has folder structure for organizing notes. The one thing I'd love is the ability to export to Google Keep, and sync between devices.

The recent update made the app completely unrecognizable and for some reason changed the keyboard layout it tells your phone to use so that the space bar is cut in half to fit a dot com button. I'm not tying out websites. And there's no way to revert to the old version because we own nothing. Sad to lose an app I've used for six years.

Was great, but lost an important feature with the update. You used to be shown the time each revision was made, you could click back through the history of a note and see when every edit was made. It's the reason I used this app to begin with. Now it seems that feature has been eliminated, there's no setting to restore this function. I need to see the time stamp for when each entry was made, this is a huge letdown.

What was originally a review about unprofessional behavior and an app upgrade that went wrong has turned into this guy harassing me his "friend?" Jacob Andrews has sent me a harassing email. IDK these people and he shouldn't have my email address! Beyond unprofessional!
