I have read many really bad reviews, but decided to try it anyway. I have successfully connected with both UV-5r Mini with no problems and am able to program successfully!!

No problems. Got my code first time and set up my account. I set uv-5r back to factory specs manually and used Bluetooth for first time ever for programming. Programmed a few channels and tested those and all was fine. Added a more few minutes later and all was good. Radio is two weeks old and phone is a week old. Nice app. Much to learn.

UV5R mini. This app will delete any airband channels you have configured on the device. This really sucks, now I've lost everything I spent so long configuring manually!

Can't use without making an account and giving it all the permissions. Then read the other comments and not sure I even want to make an account. CHIRP it is.

Having to make an account and log in on an app in order to program a radio that I've purchased via Bluetooth? I guess that I'll just utilize a programming cable and CHIRP the radio.
