Works well with the UV 32, only downside is I can't figure out how to add more channels, so I have to go to zone3 and over write my settings. The good thing is you can save your settings before you make the changes and then revert them back later

Bought 6 5r minis to donate to new hams, even with radio held next to phone it still times out when attempting to connect, is there a limit to the number of radios the app can connect to? I have Bluetooth on, radio fully charged, what am I missing? Could it be a neighbor's Bluetooth devices are drowning out the radios? I got the app to work with my uv32, is there just a trick to the 5r mini?

Why does the app prevent saving of Hairband when the radio is capable of receiving it? I had to save airbands manually.

Like other have said, having to make an account to log in to and use Bluetooth to program a radio has got to be the biggest "we want to sell and scrape your phone for data" red flag out there.

I'm able to connect, read and make changes and write changes back to the radio. 2 stars because I can't save my Mini-5 info to the phone because of the password issue when trying to register with Ola. Oops one star now because when I saved my changes, all my Hairband channels were deleted. Glad I had a backup in RT Systems.
