Very pleased. Had a bit of trouble getting the app to connect etc.... turned out it was me misunderstanding the colors of the dots. Thought the colors were for the big orange one on e the app not the color if the light on the device itself. In the end it was about $250 cheaper hours quicker, than having the brake controller kit installed on the Jeep.

Echo unit was a toss-in with my used camper purchase. Had trouble pairing until I enabled location, then has worked flawlessly except for one brief pairing fail requiring a phone reboot. Care must be taken to initialize the device for each use with the trailer hitched and on level ground to level-calibrate correctly! This "portable" controller will come in very handy if I let friends or family borrow the camper. Recommended, though your phone may vary from my experience.

Does not stay connected. I can connect just fine, but it disconnects all the time. It says that I shouldn't worry as the Bluetooth is only used to update controller settings and the controller works without being connected to phone. It does, but I noticed that it shows brakes being applied when I am not applying the brakes. Worried about burning out trailer brakes. Going to buy a hard-wired controller and trash this one.

Would give a 0 if I could. Terrible solution for a brake controller. Loses connection all the time, but that's the best case scenario. Normally it won't even tell you it's lost its connection and when you try to gently use the breaks the trailers brakes will slam on and off the entire time. VERY DANGEROUS DO NOT BUY THIS SYSTEM. Wasted money, I'm going to have to buy a wired solution like I should have In the beginning. Do not risk your life or your loved one's lives on this dangerous system.
