nowhere on any advert have I seen anything about a registration fee. Maybe put it in an advert you have to pay to get discounts you can already get elsewhere

Signed up, and apparently the security check is: “What’s your trade?” “Electrician.” “Excellent. Off you go.” No evidence, no verification, nothing. So presumably I could put “surgeon” and start operating on people by lunchtime. The Blue Light Card actually makes you prove you qualify. This doesn't. I also checked my five main places to shop. Three aren't even on it. Good idea, but if it's meant to support genuine tradespeople, perhaps start by checking that people actually are tradespeople.
