First time user of the app, but it worked very well getting to trails in Zion National Park...it also showed trails that I never knew about, and I've been hiking there for years hitting all the popular well known trails, but it found us some short hikes not many know about that where great hikes...also they gave me a discount the first year that was an offer I couldn't refuse...

So many bugs... I updated the app, and now it crashes immediately after opening. The maping is all in standard units. Even if you switch to metric. And there is no route development for ski touring.

Useless outside the USA. 1: All map elevations are in feet, switching the units to Metric does not swap the maps. 2: There seems to be very little to no winter satellite imagery outside the USA. 3: Unless you have a credit card with a USA billing address, you cannot use discount codes or purchase from onX directly. 4: Avalanche run out and Potential do not work outside the USA. 5: User interface occasionally bugs and will not allow tilt or rotate in 3D view until the app is restarted.

Bought hoping to find some new backpacking trails, but the "discover" feature is basically unusable for this. Can't filter by things like overnight camping or route type, can't search within a specific area, and I can't even manually scroll through all the results because they just stop loading after the first 20, so all I get is a bunch of short, local trails at the same few parks near my current location.

Laughably limited feature set for a paid app. It basically has no functionality if you are offline which is the entire premise of a BACKCOUNTRY mapping program. Want to see an elevation chart between two points? Tough! Want to see a distance between two points? Tough! Even if you download the entire area before heading out this is basically useless. They will also send you endless marketing emails to try out their other products. Avoid.
