Description
An example receiver implementation for OpenDroneID Bluetooth, Wi-Fi NAN (Neighbor Aware Network) and Wi-Fi Beacon signals for Android phones. The application is compliant with the Bluetooth, Wi-Fi NaN and Wi-Fi Beacon parts of the ASTM F3411 Remote ID standard and the ASD-STAN prEN 4709-002 Direct Remote ID standard.
The application continuously scans for Bluetooth advertising/Wi-Fi NaN signals/beacons. If any is found matching the specifiers for OpenDroneID signals, it adds that transmitter to a list, will display the location of the drone on a map and can show the detailed content of the OpenDroneID data.

The first actual Remote ID receiver, this does what it says which is to receive Wi-Fi Beacon / NAN or Bluetooth broadcasts containing ASTM F3411 messages. The Android operating system is very restrictive about how often applications are allowed to request this data which does make it sort lacking in how long it takes drones to show up. That's not the fault of this app's developers, but I'm afraid this sort of apps will always have a low rating unless the operating system becomes less restrictive.

Does what it says. Shows in flight drones that are broadcasting
★☆☆☆☆Jonathan Samet· Dec 2, 2025
Im not sure this even works since it doesn't detect my drone which broadcasts RID. And yes the drone is on and aloft.
★☆☆☆☆Matthew Matulin· Oct 2, 2024
Didn't detect drone with known working remote ID flying 20 feet away

I didn't enjoy this app at all is app couldn't detect the drone if it was sitting on top of it I had three police drones in my backyard, and I have always says no drones around no matter how many times did I scan it it always says the same thing no drones around you can go to a drone amusement park and that's all they have is drones and this app will not detect a single one of them. It asked you to enter in your drone information, so they will be able to easier identify your drone

Does Not Work! Maybe it's my phone, a Nokia 6.1, but the app would not even show my DJI Air 2S broadcasting its remote ID.
