OptoExpert: AI Lens Measure

The professional optometry measurement app with AI-assisted pin placement — built for opticians, optometrists, and ophthalmology professionals.

Measure everything you need for a glasses order — PD, fitting height, progressive values, and more — directly from a photo of the patient wearing the frame. AI face detection places measurement pins automatically, so you get accurate results in seconds instead of minutes.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Take a photo of the patient in the frame
2. Calibrate using the known lens width — or let AI estimate lens edges
3. AI detects face landmarks and places pins automatically — drag to fine-tune
4. Get all your measurements instantly

AI-ASSISTED MEASUREMENTS
OptoExpert uses on-device face detection to automatically locate pupils, bridge, and lens edges. AI places your measurement pins with one tap — then drag to fine-tune for perfect accuracy. AI also estimates lens edges during calibration, saving time on every exam. All processing happens on your device — no data leaves your phone.

SINGLE-VISION MEASUREMENTS
• Pupillary distance (PD) — monocular left & right
• Bridge width (DBL)
• Lens width / eye size (A measurement)
• Lens height (B measurement)
• Minimum blank size — auto-calculated from shared points
• Pupil to bottom of lens (left & right)
• Pupil to bridge center (left & right)
• Effective diameter (ED)

PROGRESSIVE LENS MEASUREMENTS
• Vertex distance
• Pantoscopic tilt
• Frame wrap / inclination angle

BUILT FOR OPTICAL PROFESSIONALS
• Guided workflow with floating pin labels and coach marks
• Auto-calculated measurements reduce manual steps
• Save and revisit patient exams
• Export results as PDF to share with labs
• No ads — a professional tool, not a consumer gimmick
• Works offline
