This has always been my go to for a guitar tuner! It's accurate and has never let me down. I've even tested how close to being perfectly in tune against my Roland boss gt-1000 multi fx processor, and it is dead on!

Terrible tuner. I have a new Marimba and can't get middle C tuned. It goes up or down away from C no matter what I try. The name of the app should be changed, also.

Update 2026: I play oboe and English horn. Whatever new updates you did to add string specific instruments have made it more difficult for the app to pick up my instrument. It also frequently freezes in one position. Is there a way to take out the update? Old review: Never had a problem and easy to work! Great tuner.much better than the Apple free or pay tuner apps and works just as well or betters the ones you pay for.

There's something wrong with tool, earlier it used to pic mic and tune flawlessly, after recent update, needle stuck, doesn't change note, doesn't pick up the mic tone properly
