Terrible functionality - constantly crashes mid-chapter, loses its place in audiobooks, and you can't change playback speed or screen style without it crashing. No idea why NYPL doesn't just use Libby like the other borough libraries; it's a far better app.

Other library and reading apps come in much higher quality user experience. Something as simple as turning pages isn't handled well. Closing the app and picking back up will take you back to the beginning of the chapter instead of remembering where you left off unless you remember to place a bookmark. There is no list of previously read books, no saved search history, and no information on series of books. Libby does all of these. I really wish that one of the libraries I use didn't use this app

This app barely works. Crashes constantly and none of the settings work. I only use it because the library has a great selection... if you don't mind having to restart your audiobook every 5 mins.
