Brilliant map! I know I can use it offline without fuss. Great detail. I love the contour lines, peaks and footpaths. (Really useful in the U.K. Lake District) The navigation is acceptable considering it being the offline. My default for car navigation will still be Google Maps, but I know it's there. **One improvement (for the U.K.) would be a layer which 'Open Canal' (Also an App') has which is a layer of an 1880s historic map. Fascinating to see it overlaid when you are out and about.

Awesome app. Suggestions for improvement: 1. Swap "Gift box" icon (About app) with the "Map Styles and Layers" icon. 2. Bookmark names should be selectable toggle in "Bookmarks and Tracks" icon. 3. Bookmark names show as decimal degrees after importing despite previously changing to "space character" to hide the name. 4. Maps.me does bookmark labels better by hiding them at different zoom levels to avoid clutter.

I wanted to switch from Google Maps, but every location I typed in, it wouldn't find. Not sure if there is something special I need to do, but any attempt to search out of my state just brought up "similar" addresses nearby rather than in the city and state I wanted. "Show On Map" just zoomed out, then gave up. Disappointed because I really wanted a functional, dr-googled option.

When you download full map of India then you will notice that, they don't consider some parts of India that are actually in india.

I need to test it more, but it seems somewhat slow to initiate the routing. Also, when you find a place it'd be nice to just have "get directions" instead of selecting "route to" or "route from". Search seems an extremely picky and can't find entire shopping centers that are 10+ years old, let alone any of the roads going through them. It's privacy focused-which is great. But its functionality is leaving much to be desired.
