OurCal Calendar Messenger

"The problem with shared calendars isn't productivity. It's communication." — Ryan Brodie, Founder

So we built the first calendar messenger — a shared calendar with a messenger built in. Every event has its own chat. Every change posts automatically. Files, photos, notes, and decisions stay with the event they belong to — not scattered across WhatsApp, Telegram, email, and five other apps.

Create a group of 2 to 100, add your people, and start sharing in seconds. Couples, families, friends, clubs, students, sports teams, healthcare teams, work teams, shift workers, travellers, childcare, and event planners — OurCal has a template for every group. More than a planner or organiser — a calendar messenger where your group actually communicates. Trusted by 100K+ groups worldwide.

The calendar your group will actually use.

EVERY EVENT IS A CHAT

Every event has its own dedicated chat — separate from your group chat. Discuss the plan, share photos, attach files, and make decisions without cluttering the group. React, reply, quote — just like your favourite messenger, but everything stays with the event it belongs to.

GROUP CHAT FOR THE BIG PICTURE

Your group chat is for the group — announcements, quick questions, and coordination that doesn't belong to a single event. Event updates and group messages all flow into your Activity feed, so nothing gets missed.

AUTOMATIC CHANGE TRACKING

Someone moved the dentist? You'll know. Every change posts a before-and-after update automatically — in the event chat and in your Activity feed. No more "wait, did you move that?"

COLOUR-CODED CALENDAR VIEWS

Every member gets a colour. Every event shows who it's for. See your kids' activities, your partner's shifts, and your own schedule in a single view. A busy family's week reads at a glance — no labels needed.

SYNC ALL YOUR CALENDARS

Google Calendar, Outlook, Samsung Calendar — pull them into one place. Already subscribe to calendars for sports fixtures, school term dates, or TV schedules? Sync those too. See your personal diary and shared calendars side by side. No more switching apps. No more double-booking.

SMART EVENT CREATION

Type "Dentist Tuesday 3pm for an hour" and it's done. Natural language event creation, entirely on device. Add a reminder, set a todo, or schedule a recurring event — all in plain English.

GROUPS FOR YOUR WHOLE LIFE

Home. Work. School. Social. Each group has its own calendars, members, and chat. Set up one for your family, a separate one for your team, another for your kids' sports club. One app, every group.

SHARE SHIFTS AND ROTAS

Nurses, paramedics, police officers, hospitality workers — share your shift rota so your family and friends never plan over your working days.

ENCRYPTED. EVERYTHING. ALWAYS.

Every profile, group, calendar, event, message, and file — end-to-end encrypted by default. ANSSI-certified. Not a feature. A foundation. Your data stays yours. No ads. No tracking. Ever.

WIDGETS AND NOTIFICATIONS

Stay on top of your schedule with home screen widgets filtered by member or calendar. Get reminders, change alerts, and chat notifications in real time.
