You are an astronaut awaking from cryonics not in the solar system, but... out there... in a far and unknown place of the galaxy. In Out There, you will have to survive, tinkering your ship with what you can gather drifting in the void, and spot garden planets to refill your oxygen supply.

Great cerebral game. A bleak, nihilistic yet intriguing story unfolds as you play. Very difficult - this is a game enjoyed in the journey, not the winning. Great art and soundtrack.

1st 30-50 plays strategically conserved like when to probe/ drill, then skipping systems to reach the marker check points. The story is good and want to know more with what is hinted at like derelict ships w/ cryohumans, swapping ships, alien life and not comical but serious. It's just too brutal! It's not proper management, it's just luck, and it's agreevating. Here's a good game with mood taking this serious ala No Man Sky but is 100-200 play thrus worth little in return for us????

Cons: - Too RNG based, no strategy involved at all - No meta currency, no progression system for improving runs - No agency, player choices feel impactful - No altering starting load out, ships always start with the same build - Technology must be found every run, no permanent tech unlocks - Multiple chances to be hard locked and instant lose run - Can only get fuel from gas planets unless you have right tech, too easy to never find gas giants Pros: - Space - Music
