Comments on Outdoor Elements for Android

Just terrible. Can't believe they'd release such a crude version. Super expensive product that is underwhelming and disappointing at all levels. App does not reliably connect, and even when it does, it is super slow and leggy. Tremendous buyer's remorse.

The app was never able to pair to the pergola controller board directly. The only way I was able to pair it (by accident) was using the "WiZ Connected" app, where happened to discover another "light" (which was actually the pergola) when I was trying to pair a smart light. So I tried connecting to it, and it caused the pergola to connect to my Wi-Fi. I then went to the outdoor elements app and was able to pair it through the normal process. I need to repeat that anytime it stops connecting.
