It is fantastic when it is connected. It sometimes loses connection to the motor when it is just 2 feet away on my phone mount. Hopefully they will fix that. It sucks when you are trolling and your line out is longer then the distance to the bottom and you stall.

The Premotor itself is awesome, but the apk still seems to need more polish. The biggest issue is that even though I used a phone dedicated just to being the controller for this and had always screen on, over about 2 1\2 hours time the apk just disconnected from the pac motor, which leaves you drifting on a collision course until you either grab the dedicated controller the Premotor comes with and power it on, or you quickly reconnect the apk. The dedicated controller doesn't ever disconnect.
