Description

Paisa is a personal finance tracker built for Pakistan. It reads the transaction notifications your bank and wallet apps already send you and turns them into transaction logs, so your spending record keeps itself.

No account. No sign-up. Nothing leaves your phone.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Add your accounts and enter what each one holds.
2. Paisa automatically links it to the installed app. (Make sure your banking app notifications are turned ON)
3. Turn ON the transaction capture for PAISA App.
4. Transaction notifications are logged automatically in PAISA App.

Cash still works the old way, in two taps. Cash in hand is there from the
first launch, so you can start tracking before you link anything.

WHAT YOU GET
• Automatic entries from linked bank and wallet alerts
• One running balance across every account
• Money in and money out for the month, at a glance
• A category breakdown showing where the month actually went
• Search and filter by period, account or category
• Keywords you control: teach a category once and it files itself after that
• Balance checks that ask you when a spend is bigger than the balance on
record, instead of going quietly negative
• Export everything to a spreadsheet whenever you want

PKR throughout, with every amount labelled.

PRIVACY
Paisa has no server. There is no account to create and nothing to sync.
Your accounts, transactions and categories are stored on your device and
nowhere else. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

Android grants notification access for every app at once. Paisa only reads
the apps you link yourself and drops everything else unopened.

LANGUAGES
English, Roman Urdu and اردو. Only the words change. The layout stays
exactly where you learned it.

WHAT PAISA IS NOT
It does not connect to your bank. It does not move money. It does not track
investments. It is a record of what you spend, kept honestly, on one phone.

Paisa is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any bank or
payment provider.

Recent changes:
• Set up the bank app and bank SMS while adding an account
• Transaction capture is split into Banking apps and SMS notifications
• A notification shows while Paisa is tracking, and you can close it
• Tap the eye on the home screen to hide your balances
• Face unlock and fingerprint are separate, and off until you turn them on
• Amounts show commas as you type
• Undo when you remove a keyword or transfer rule
• Reversed and refunded payments no longer count as spending
• Fixes throughout
