Palmidi Lite (MIDI Sequencer)

★★★★★ Mobile Midi This app is rather excellent- especially for the price. The program runs smooth and without flaw, easily allowing you to enter in the song in your head. You can change the timing, the tempo, and you have a slightly small but decent selection of instruments. You can have up to four tracks plus a percussion track going at one time. This is by far my new favorite app- and this is coming from a teenager who has some pretty cool games and apps on his phone.

★★★★★ Most useful sequencer Looking forward to seeing this great sequencer develop further! Copy, paste, some sort of clip view would be nice. Maybe multi touch and drag to select multiple notes? Or multi touch and fling up/down for previous/next track, and fling left/right for previous/next clip (again for use in the clip view ;) But still the best one in my opinion! I don't really need more channels but buying full version just to support your great work. Thanks!

★★★★★ Best MIDI sequencing app out there I love this program! It's been very easy for me to transcribe some sheet music with this application. It's also my favourite MIDI player. The piano roll interface is pretty straightforward; select an entered note and drag its left size of reposition it, or drag its right side to resize it. The "quantize" button actually controls which note durations to snap to. Change the time signature and tempo of a song by selecting a measure. However, sometimes changing the time signature bugs and you see duplicate measures, but after playing with it enough it sorts itself out. Oddly enough, the player supports odd time signatures (I imported a song with some 7/4 in it) but you can only enter 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, and 4/4 - maybe other ones are pro version only? Unfortunately, changing the tempo is more buggy: the first tempo change is fine, subsequent tempo changes cause the player to jump back several measures and not change the scrolling speed (though the song sounds correct). A new option called "key" showed up in the menu, but I'm not sure what it does. As a whole, this program is perfect for sequencing on the go. I plan on purchasing the full version if these minor problems get fixed!

★★☆☆☆ Joke! This is not a MIDI application! This application was installed on 3 different high end LG cell phones, it crashed 100% . This application is a failure in my book, because of these reasons. 1. I never actually never got this app running at all. My firmware an software is all up to date on each phone, Android 4.0+ fully updated. I run each phone out as MIDI with a much better application. Dont waste your time.

★★☆☆☆ No menu without hardware button? Perhaps this was designed for earlier versions of Android that had a hardware menu button, because when I open it, there is no menu whatsoever, just a piano grid and play buttons across the top. Am i missing something or is this app woefully behind the current Android versions? I am unable to do anything useful with the app
