Synopsis:

Xion's time at the Institute of Pandemonium has helped him become one of the field's leading archaeologists. Despite his success, his inability to use magic has made it hard for him to be truly welcomed into Pandemonium's society of Devils. On top of that, memories of his father's disappearance continue to haunt him to this very day.

When evidence of his father's survival finally surfaces, however, he pursues the truth through the word of the Institute's high chancellor—but will he really be able to find him? Will he accept the help of an old friend in his search, or will he brave this dangerous path on his own? Xion's destiny awaits in the wilds of Pandemonium.

Characters:

Xion - The Destined Archaeologist
Xion has become a star researcher within the Institute of Pandemonium, just like his father. Despite the mockery he receives from his peers for his inability to cast magic, he perseveres in hope of finding proof that his missing father is still alive. Xion is willing to set aside everything for the sake of finding the truth behind his father’s disappearance, but will his deepening bonds change that?

Caim - The Treasured Soldier
Caim has known Xion longer than anyone, certainly longer than the Devils who mock him at the Institute. He was Xion's defender and friend until diverging careers led the two young Devils apart. When Caim's path entwines once more with Xion's destiny, will they welcome each other back into the recesses of their hearts, or will they decide that this old flame was never meant to burn?

Belial - The Mysterious Chancellor
Despite his secrets, Belial has been a source of guidance and comfort from the moment Xion stepped foot in the Institute. When the Chancellor of the Institute himself orders the young devil to ignore his instincts, will he stand with Belial in his shroud of mystery, or disobey and hope that forgiveness finds him in the future?
