Taxi Drivers use the app to join and reserve a spot in the queue. When arriving at the Holding Lot at the airport, drivers are dispatched to a Terminal through the app.
You must enable location services in order to use the Join the Queue feature.
Location services will run in the background on your device to ensure that only taxis located at certain defined distances from the airport are able to join the queue and be called to the holding lot. These distances are set by the Port Authority of NY/NJ and subject to change based on operational requirements of the airport.
Taxi drivers can still review the length of the taxi queue and average wait time for dispatch without enabling location services.

I've never seen an app worse than this. A blindfolded 6th grader could make an app better than this in his intro to coding class. Sometimes it even kicks you out of the queue that you spent hours trying to get into. Truly a shame that this is all Port Authority could manage. Shame on them for using our tax dollars to make such a garbage app. This app is so bad that instead of saving you time, it gives you a headache. If there was an award for the worst app ever made, this would win.

1 star I'm not able to connect.3 stars, would give 5 stars only if the developer Add DARK MODE and AUTO CLICKER to press the button. I been driving for 15 + years at nighttime, the white screen feels like I'm looking at the sun, the White screens effect my visual distance it's hard to see with the white screen. A DARK MODE would be kindly appreciate it. My finger's get tired of clicking and driving, AUTO CLICKER in app would be nice or the AUTOMATICITY get you a spot that would be nice to feature.

Those who work behind the app, know there is an issue with the app, and keep gaslighting like nothing is wrong. It's discouraging and disappointing when reading these reviews, and it sounds exactly like the emails I have sent to support, just to hear that all is well and not acknowledging the issue to assume liability. Either make the app work properly or scrap it all together. They're messing with our time, and it's irresponsible and negligent to assume that what they're doing is ok.
