Paperlight Document Scanner

Paperlight is a fast, private document scanner for Android. Point your
camera at a page and it finds the edges, straightens the perspective and
turns it into a clean PDF — no account, no sign-up, and it all happens on
your phone.

SCAN ANYTHING, STRAIGHT TO PDF
• Automatic edge detection crops and de-skews each page as you shoot
• Auto-capture fires when the page is steady, so both hands stay free
• Import photos you already took and the scanner crops those too
• Multi-page scanning — add pages to any document later
• Save as PDF, JPEG or PNG, at A4, A5, US Letter, Legal or fit-to-page

MAKE EVERY SCAN READABLE
• Five filters: Original, Auto, Grey, Black & White and Photo
• Brightness and contrast on a slider, applied to one page or all of them
• Rotate, re-crop and adjust any page, any time — your original is never
overwritten

SEARCHABLE TEXT (OCR)
• Text recognition reads your scans so you can search what is inside them
• Searchable PDF export adds an invisible text layer — find, select and
copy text in any PDF reader
• Extract text from any scan and copy it elsewhere

SIGN, MARK UP AND REDACT
• Keep up to three signatures — draw one or lift it off a photo
• Markup tools: pen, marker, highlighter, eraser and text in any colour
• Redact private details with a solid black box or a blur
• Add a watermark before you share

A VAULT FOR PRIVATE DOCUMENTS
• Lock documents behind your phone's fingerprint or screen lock
• Vault files are encrypted on the device with AES-256, not merely hidden
• Passports, contracts, payslips, medical letters — out of the gallery and
out of sight

STAY ORGANISED
• Categories for receipts, invoices, certificates, contracts and your own
• Search document names and the text inside every scan
• Expiry reminders a month before a document lapses, and on the day
• Scan from a Quick Settings tile or a home-screen widget

WORKS OFFLINE, STAYS PRIVATE
Scanning, filters, text recognition, the vault and sharing all work with no
connection. Your documents are not uploaded anywhere unless you turn on
backup yourself. No ads. No account.

PAPERLIGHT PRO
• Back up to your own Google Drive, encrypted before it leaves the phone
• Share and merge several documents at once

Monthly or yearly, and everything else stays free — a scanner that stops
working halfway through a stack is no use to anyone.

Paperlight — a document scanner, PDF scanner and page scanner that keeps
your paperwork on your phone.
