The Park Adelaide app helps you find parking in the City of Adelaide
The Park Adelaide app helps you find available on-street parking near your destination. Using real-time data and sensors, the app will direct you to the most convenient parking around the city.
Once you’ve found your park, the app lets you pay directly on your smart device. There’s no need to make payment at the Ticket Machine!
To find available parking, open the app to reveal the city map. The coloured markers help you identify the likelihood of locating a park. Green indicates high number of parks currently available, orange an average number of parks and red a few or no parks available.
Tapping a map marker will give you more information about the parking controls in that area. This includes hours of operation, time limits, parking fees, and other restrictions. By typing in your destination, the app can display and guide you to available parking options nearby.
To pay for parking via the app, you will need to create an account and log in. As an account holder, you’ll be able to remotely ‘top up’ your parking to the time limit, without having to return to your vehicle. You will also have the option to extend your parking for 15 minutes over the limit with a special Extend Stay purchase. You will be notified when your parking is about to expire which will help you know when you need to return to your vehicle. This app seems unnecessarily convoluted & difficult to use. Coming to SA from interstate, I was unfamiliar with the app. Downloaded it and could not figure it how to use it. I have asked passersby on occasion for assistance & they have all said that they don't know how to use it and just pay $ for a parking ticket. I lived in Vic previously and used another parking app which was so intuitive & user-friendly. What a shame that this app didn't deliver for me. I dread to think what it cost council!

I actually liked this app, at least for the functionality of locating available ACC parking spaces, but I never attempted to pay for a park with it though. Opening the app now, it reports that it has been retired and provides a link to download the new app. Instead, it takes me to a website with the option to "Continue Using Browser", or to install the new app. When I try to install the new app, I get the message that "Your device was not ready to start the installation, please try again." 🤷♂️

Just tried to park and pay. Error after error, wouldn't let me add a car or a payment method without crashing. Left and found free parking.

So, I'm sitting in my car in a bay, and I'm trying with all the ingenuity and imagination I can muster, to pay for the damn thing using Park Adelaide, which steadfastly refuses to allow a search for this bay. All I can get is a drop-down list from a tag on an overcrowded and illegible map. If my bay is not on that list then nope, it still won't search for my bay. Ten minutes and a bad mood later, I paid using a kerbside machine.
