Description
To ensure that pharmacists and pharmacy technicians provide optimal patient care throughout their careers as healthcare professionals, they must maintain their competency through ongoing professional development activities as determined by a Quality Assurance Program.
In British Columbia, this program is called the Professional Development and Assessment Program (PDAP). As determined by legislation [HPA Bylaw 55(2)], PDAP consists of a Continuing Education (CE) component which utilizes the CE-Plus tool.
The CE-Plus tool requires pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to submit a minimum of 15 hours of professional development (a minimum of 5 hours must be accredited learning) documented on a minimum of 6 Learning Records every year.
The College of Pharmacists of British Columbia created PDAP Mobile to provide pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with an accessible and convenient application where they can create, edit and submit their CE-Plus requirements to the College on a mobile device. More resources are available at www.bcpharmacists.org/pdapmobile.
Pharmacists and pharmacist technicians can also submit their annual CE-Plus requirements on the PDAP Portal which is available on https://eservices.bcpharmacists.org/web/cpbc.

Super slow, often won't properly submit my CEs. It says incomplete, but on the website, it is complete. Won't connect to PDAP online. Tried to log out to see if it would update. Now it won't sign me back in. Keeps saying incorrect UN or Pass, but it's the exact same thing I enter to log in online. Tried probably 20 times. Often, it says PDAP is not responding, close app. There are too many bugs that need fixing. It's not worth the headache. It's much easier to just do it online.
