Pdf Label Printing – PDF-based label printing on Android
Pdf Label Printing is an Android app that helps you quickly crop and print labels from existing PDF documents (e.g. AWB label, CMR, delivery note, invoice, order) on a touch device.
Main features: - Works fully offline, all processing happens locally on the device - Open PDFs from Android “Share” menu and the built-in file picker - Open password-protected PDFs - Save / send new password-protected PDF - Page thumbnails with fast navigation, even for 1000+ page PDFs - Select label areas on the page with live preview - Automatic upscaling of small pages / labels for better print quality - Process pages in batches to control memory and performance usage - Rotate, reorder pages and cropped labels, add extra margins - Merge multiple PDFs, combine multiple labels into printable pages - Add blank pages to an existing PDF, using the exact size of the first page - Add PNG-based signature / stamp / watermark to every page - Configure and save signature / stamp / watermark position and size - Rasterize signed / stamped / watermarked pages: background and image become one object, so the signature cannot be removed later - Built-in PDF viewer opened from thumbnails (Android 9+), can be turned on or off in settings - Light and dark theme, touch-friendly UI - Runs on Android 7.0+ (API 24 and above)
How it works
You can open PDFs from the “Share” menu or using the built-in file picker. For password-protected documents the app asks for the password; once unlocked, the PDF can be cropped, signed, saved and shared just like any other file.
The app generates thumbnails so you can quickly scroll and pick pages, even in 1000+ page documents. On each page you select the label area, which is shown in a live preview. Multiple labels can be stored; the app builds a new “label” PDF from the cropped areas. Blank pages can only be added to a loaded PDF and use the exact size of its first page.
Signing, stamping, watermarking
The app can add a graphical “signature” / stamp / watermark on top of the PDF. You can load your own PNG signature / stamp / logo, adjust its position (X / Y) and size, and save these settings. The signature can be applied automatically to all pages, so even 1000+ page documents can be signed, stamped or watermarked without issues.
If only a single page is selected, you can tap the pencil icon next to the signature / stamp / watermark and freely move and position it on that page, then confirm with the OK button.
Technical detail: the signature / stamp / watermark is always added from a PNG image, and after rasterization the page content and the image become a single object. So the inserted graphic cannot later be removed separately from the PDF.
Legal notice
The “signatures” created with this app are not qualified electronic signatures and must not be considered any kind of official, legally regulated signature. The app is intended for personal use only and you use it at your own risk.
Built-in PDF viewer (Android 9+)
Tap a thumbnail to open the PDF in the app on Android 9+. The viewer can be turned on or off in settings; older systems use an external viewer. Search and text selection in the built-in PDF viewer require Android 12+ and a suitable system update (S Extension 13+). Without it, you can still read the PDF.
The viewer is based on the AndroidX PDF component. Thanks to the AndroidX PDF Viewer team: https://developer.android.com/jetpack/androidx/releases/pdf
