PDF Reader helps you open and read common documents in one app and complete PDF annotation, form-filling, and signing tasks.

In addition to PDF, the app also supports Word (DOCX), Excel (XLSX), PowerPoint (PPTX), and TXT files. Whether a file comes from your phone storage, Downloads folder, email, or a chat app, you can quickly open and view it.

PDF READING AND EDITING

• Read multi-page PDF documents

• Save changes to the currently open PDF file

USE PDF READER IN THESE SITUATIONS

When you receive a PDF, DOCX, or another Office document through email, a chat app, or a browser, use the system Open with or Share option to send the file to PDF Reader without switching between multiple reading apps.

While reading study materials, highlight key points, add underlines, or insert text. When you receive a form or document that needs to be signed, create a signature and place it on the PDF page. When reviewing work files, quickly open DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX files to check their contents.

After editing a PDF, tap Save to write the changes to the currently open PDF file. If you need to keep the version from before your edits, make a copy of the original file before editing.

A SIMPLE DOCUMENT READING EXPERIENCE

A clear file list helps you find PDF and Office documents on your phone. After you open a file, the app uses the appropriate reader for its format so you can view the content directly.

PROCESS DOCUMENTS LOCALLY

Document reading and PDF editing mainly take place locally on your device. Scanning the file list or reading a document does not actively delete or move files. Changes are written to the current PDF file only after you edit it and tap Save.
