It works exactly as intended, and it's to stop people sharing passwords especially with students. Some of these review bombs don't make sense. "I deleted the app to make space" it's a very small app and as it's an authentication they need to make sure only one person device otherwise again password sharing can occur. Once it's set up it's very easy. If you lose your phone you can email them asking to reset everything.

Quite literally the worst app I have ever used. Customer support is worse than useless. After changing my phone I have been locked out of Pearson services which has hindered my work. Spent 45 minutes plus on a chat to get access only to be told I'd have to call back for help as they, the customer support, couldn't help me. Absolute joke! Why don't you allow users to register new devices more easily rather than putting us through the torture of your customer (non)support?!

Worse app ever. Got a new phone, and now I cannot log in as no QR code is available to scan, and can't get through to the support line.

Had to go through multiple calls to transfer over the authenticator to a new phone, as a teacher we don't have much time for this. Pearson should just use an already established alternative authentication platform like Google's or Microsoft's.
