PeepWharf Intake is a receiving-dock utility for keepers collecting live chicks, ducklings, or poults from the post office, farm-store chick days, or classroom hatches. Set species program, head count, hours in the crate, outdoor temperature band, and box condition. A rules engine writes a first-six-hours plan with in-crate rest, water-before-feed order, drinker math, brooder-floor heat, and isolation-dish capacity. Screenshot-ready counts and targets replace guesswork.

INTAKE COMPOSER
Lock a species program—layer chick, heavy broiler, bantam, duckling, or turkey poult—then enter head count, transit hours, temperature band, and box condition. A live stress index rewrites the six-hour strip as inputs change so the plan stays honest to the birds in front of you.

WATER BEFORE FEED
Get drinker count and fountain vs nipple type, electrolyte vs plain water, and a crumble lock until drink-minutes elapse. Extra drinkers appear when transit or heat stress is high, so hydration comes first without overthinking the setup.

BROODER RING HEAT MAP
Day-0 floor targets at lamp center vs ring edge, thermometer marks, square-inches-per-head crowding flags, and lamp vs heat-plate recipes—including duckling no-slip exceptions. Know where heat belongs before the first bird leaves the box.

ONE-TAP REPAIRS
Rewrite the strip instantly: add drinkers, extend crate rest, split a hot crate from a chilled crate, widen the ring, or drop wattage. A before/after ribbon shows what changed so you can act fast on the dock.

ISOLATION DISH CARD
Capacity guidance for weak arrivals—heat, space, and rejoin criteria—without keeping a mortality history. Support fragile birds, then fold them back when ready.

EIGHT SEEDED RECIPES
First launch includes complete receiving situations with real day-0 constants: blizzard-delayed mail, August heat wave, 15 bantams, 50 heavy broilers, ducklings, turkey poults, porch overnight hold, and mixed-age mis-box. Start from a working baseline, not blank fields.

SAVED PROTOCOLS
Create, edit, duplicate, and delete named protocol recipes on-device. Share the hour strip with a system share sheet. Units and default species stick via local storage—no account required.
