Spent an hour trying to figure out how to log in to my own instance, only to find out you cannot. The app should be marked beta to prevent other people from thinking it's fully functional. Good luck with future development!

It's disappointing how lackluster the features included in the app are. Compared to YouTube and New Pipe, it has no options for video quality, closed captions, and few settings options. What really throws me off is the poor search feature, as it never searches for a specific video or channel (e.g., finding "Crab Rave" for videos and "Linus Tech Tips" for channels). If I have to recommend an open-source YouTube alternative, skip this option and use New Pipe.

Take this as feedback and not hate! The peer tube system has some severe problems that make it worse than YouTube. There are 3 fundamental problems.(1)Lack of a unified search engines to browser videos from all instances.(2)Lack of an easy way to subscribe to channels from different instances.(3)Most peer tube clients are buggy including this one. The only good client I found was P2Play. If these issues are solved then, Peer tube>>>>>slop tube.BASICALLY, MAKE IT EASY TO USE FOR NON-TECHY PEOPLE!!!!!
