The app crashes occasionally, but it's not terribly irritating. I wish the email function worked better and actually sent me a copy of messages I've sent to another player ... rarely do I get a copy. The in-game chat has limited functionality and is VERY irritating. I think it's 140 char but haven't counted, will crash back to the home screen during an attempt to edit the chat, and doesn't allow cut-and-paste. 5 stars for enjoyment, but 3 stars for the email and in-game chat issues.

Pente is a wonderful game, and this is a wonderful app. It seems that the developer actually fixes issues when a user reaches out, as I have not experienced any issues with crashing or intrusive advertisements. Overall really happy about it.

Best way to play pente and all its variants. AI is crazy good. Community is great fun. It would be nice to have an easy way to let your opponent mulligan a boneheaded move.

Can't log in to my account. No user profile tools, username/pwd grayed out, tried uninstalling/restarting with no change. Oh well, could've been nice, I'll just use the browser.

Game is ridiculous in the first place, but AI breaks the rules and cheats which makes it unplayable.

The difficult setting is just for show. The on-board AI plays the perfect move every turn no matter what difficulty it is set to making it frustrating to play. There are no animations for turns so unlike real life pente where you watch your opponent make a move and make any captures the board just jumps to a new setup after the AI's turn. App needs refining and improvement, but is tragically the only viable Pente app currently available on the Google Play Store.

Review Update -- App update on 11/02 has yet to fix crashing issue Would like keep playing the app but every time I log in the game crashes. Cleared cache and local storage, still crashes. Reinstalled, still crashes. Enjoyed the game when I could play it though...
