I installed perplexity specifically to ask a question that by what I had heard about it, seemed like of all the different LLMs & chatbots available, Perplexity was going to be the best equipped for this question. I was going to send the screenshots & I uploaded them but my phone lost service before I sent them. So they were never sent. Never seen. & now it is saying I am out of uploads for today. So unfortunately, I couldn't ask my question

It's been great until this year they began messing it up. 1st - they try they remove most fast AI models (i.e. gemini flash) to push people to user their Sonar one. Clearly no one was doing it, so now they keep on resetting the default AI model to their Sonar, so you have to keep changing it each time. 2nd- With the latest update from yesterday, now they messed up with the news feed section and literally removed the bookmarking for news, meaning that all the news that I had saved are now gone.

The problem I keep running into is that the app seems to be governed by language that is quite a hindrance to those using the platform specifically for research purposes. How can I possibly utilize a tool that will randomly reformat its path of interactive patterns to remind me that "encouraging conspiracy theory" is beyond It's moral coding. That's absolutely absurd. If you take "Theological history" in to account, that's hindering almost all research.
