Comments on PGe for Android

★★★★☆ Richard Cutaiar · May 4, 2025

Always good news and information about Pittsburgh. All the things going on in and around Pittsburgh.

★★★★★ James Lucas · Jun 27, 2024

I now prefer reading the paper online. More co lenient since can pull up prior days. You can read at least the last paper downloaded if not all prior downloaded papers residing yet on your phone.

★★★★☆ Dennis Prieve · Feb 12, 2023

My only complaint is the annoying reminders to download a new edition. I am reading an E-version of the print edition which is finalized around 2:30am.

★★★★☆ Raymond Wojszynski · Feb 8, 2023

Not everything in the PDF version is on here. Must open the daily PDF to see the full paper.

★★★★☆ Patty Ostrom · Aug 19, 2023

I love this app, but wish I could get it on my Kindle Fire 8. This version is not available in kindle app store.

★☆☆☆☆ Clara Meehan · Jul 30, 2024

Frequently takes over 10 minutes to download load. Often requires rebooting several times before downloading.

★★☆☆☆ A Google user · Jan 16, 2026

Slow to load. Often loads the wrong edition, and it can take several tries to get the current edition of the paper. It often does not load graphics unless you do a page refresh for every page.

★☆☆☆☆ Arthur Berman · Nov 4, 2023

This app refuses to open too many times, and I get the news from the day before.

★☆☆☆☆ Eric M · Dec 5, 2023

I like reading the newspaper but the app sucks. You have to go in And out of the page Does not work great.
