Philips Hue

★★★★★ Best smart lights and app control out there by far, but Philips, why can I set automations for my lights but not set any of my scenes in those automations? It's like you started building a fantastic feature and got to the best part and said you know what, never mind we aren't going to finish this the right way. Adding that feature would be a HUGE win. I want my lights to be colorful when I get home not plain white.

★★★★★ It worked OK, then there was an update, and then I couldn't connect to bulbs anymore. I had to uninstall the app and install again and now it works.

★★☆☆☆ If you want to have the most infuriating experience with interior/exterior lighting, choose Philips Hue. This app straight up doesn't work. Lights are constantly stuck in endless connecting mode, so they are unable to be turned on or off. Oh, and that's after you spend a couple of minutes creating an account to use a light bulb..... Seriously bad app that is a waste of storage space, which is a shame as it used to work just fine.

★★☆☆☆ Paid €100 for 2 bulbs and I can't connect to them anymore after less than one day of buying them... Do not buy the light bulbs. The app is broken. Waste of money

★★☆☆☆ From the last update from the app, it totally destroyed my Bluetooth connection to all of my lights. Be careful updating the lights via the app, does more harm than good. I can no longer connect my lights via Bluetooth, huge waste of an investment.
