Features you expect: See all your devices, rooms, groups, and music sources. Supports over a hundred music services (same as Sonos). Supports local libraries, line-in and custom station URLs. Save your music queue as a Sonos Playlist. Play/Pause/Next/Previous/Shuffle/Repeat/Like/Unlike. Volume control for groups and individual devices. Play and Shuffle playlists directly. Edit groups easily. View, Edit and Clear the Queue. Add and delete tracks from Sonos Playlists. Save the Queue as a Sonos Playlist. Alpha-jump on large lists in Local Library. Podcast skip fwd/back. Add and Delete Sonos Favorites Portrait, landscape and dark mode supported. Edit EQ settings.
Features you maybe didn't know you needed: Unique Devices View shows exactly how your devices are connected. Shows track streaming data including sample rate and bit depth (requires S2). Does NOT use the Sonos cloud API, for speed and reliability. Supports S1, S2, and multiple systems simultaneously, and every Sonos device (except Ace headphones). Add direct streaming urls, as custom radio stations. Will never update your system. Will never show ads.

This app cannot setup a new Sonos system or make configuration changes such as adding or removing devices. You must use the official app for that.

Excellent! Just tried Phonos Ultimate one year in. For a recent app, it's great! Thank you! As an early Sonos adopter, I was very happy with devices & apps for years. Then stuff started not working quite right. Then, the 2025 'great app update' broke everything as Sonos went into denial on steroids, blaming everything on users' Wi-Fi, which hadn't changed a bit. Phonos Ultimate' UI is clear, & easy. Controls that were broken for years now work. So the UI is 'ugly'? Why is that even important?

I've never been this happy to drop $5. Works the way the Sonos mobile app USED TO work - playlists play, I can edit them, and the units don't randomly disconnect while playing music. Oh, and the volume works on-demand, instead of requiring multiple attempts.

This app is a godsend especially during this time when the Sonos app is in a horrendous state. This app is snappy and smooth when it comes to playing, pausing, skipping, and adjusting volume, it makes me actually want to use my Sonos speakers. The Sonos app has you hit a single button and then wait for so long for the app and your devices to respond it has you thinking it will never work but from now on I don't need to worry because this app has solved those problems. A+++

Doesn't solve the issue of streaming podcasts from Spotify, heart, etc. That was one and only reason for buying this. I uninstalled as the native S1 app works better for everything else for me.

I got this app specifically to find existing speakers on the network, but it wasn't able to do that, so it was a complete waste of money.
