With focus on usability instead of appearance(simple UI) this app will allow you to compress large photos into smaller sized photos with very less or negligible loss in quality. Now you do not require any desktop or laptop computers with special software for image compression. Apart from compressing photos this app can also resize photos for you.
Some features of Photo Compress: 1. Compress, Resize, Crop photos 2. Compress or Resize multiple photos at once (See help provided in the app to know how to use it) 3. Allows you to decide quality of compressed image 4. Share your compressed photo(s) from the app 5. See preview after compress\resize\crop operation. If not satisfied 'Reset Changes' and try again with different values 6. You decide to keep photo Metadata(ex: EXIF) data or not. 7. Change location where compressed photos are kept. 8. Allows to replace original file with compressed file.

I've always liked the [free] version : great to be able to compress a photo 'on the fly' for quick emailing, when on holiday for example. The interface is simple to understand and the App works every time, effortlessly. 12 megapixel cameras are fine, but nobody thanks you for scores of megabytes of download just to receive a couple of photos from you in an email! Just updated to 'pro' for the pennies it costs and am very pleased to be able to compress batches of photos at a time : worth it for that alone, never mind the other goodies bundled with the Pro version. An excellent App.

Simple enough and does what it says. I would give five stars if I didn't have my pictures saved in a specific folder named photo compress. Otherwise, a good and simple little app that lets you save data and storage by reducing size and compressing pictures.

Sad that they market the Pro version as being able to choose the output directory. What they don't specify is that the SD card is not an available directory!! Wish I hadn't wasted the money. That was my only reason for upgrading. I'll Update my rating if you fix this issue!!

Too many problems now. I started with free version. Liked it & upgraded to Pro. But it got worse with each update. *Too many problems with trying to find where the compressed pics went to when done!* *It should simply replace compressed pics in SAME folder- OR folder I choose!* "Replace & Exit" function does not work anymore. All I want is (a) to save space on my phone & SD card, (b) to upload correct size pics for viewing in social media. Can't do either anymore. KEEP IT SIMPLE! Uninstalling :(
