The concept of recording by map the pictures you have taken is excellent. My introduction to the app has not been without a few teething problems, primarily with the app picking up pictures stored on my device that may be of similar creation date to the travel pictures that I do want recorded on Photo Map for Google Photos. I haven't found a way yet to drop those pictures from the map location, unless I'm prepared to delete them from the device, which i don't want to do.

Did not work, only showed about 12 photos, when I have hundreds. Developer added feature to enable all folders of Images from within Google Drive, still didn't work.

no photos are shown on map, shows trail with big red strip on top in app. no notification which google account it is sync too. uninstalled it. edit - Photo sync is enabled and working with gdrive via photo app.
