PhotoDare

PhotoDare is a photo sharing game for rediscovering your REAL life moments and sharing authentic stories with friends.

A LIFE LESS FILTERED
PhotoDare celebrates the ordinary, extraordinary, and everything in between – it's about embracing life as it happens.

Life is unpredictable, we take pictures for all kinds of reasons. These reasons tell others about us and help us relate. But on social, people feel pressured to only post the ones that make them look good, and this leaves out so many interesting stories that other people would like.

To fix this, PhotoDare has a shuffle game that prevents overly curating photos, and helps people rethink what life moments they share. This leads to learning surprising and interesting things about the other person, and gets you talking.

PLAY WITH FRIENDS
• Photo challenges make for fun ice-breakers and surprising stories.
• Game changer for dating! Playing shows an authentic side of the other person and gets you talking about your lives.
• Great for making new friends and catching up with old friends.

DISCOVER FRESH STORIES
• Dive into a feed of fresh stories you won’t see anywhere else – this is the unscripted side of life that's missing from other platforms.
• Players tell us the Discover feed is more interesting than [big-tech competitor], because it’s so random, ‘unfiltered’, and ‘real’.

REDISCOVER LIFE MOMENTS
• From awesome moments to “what the heck??” encounters, you capture life in photos – but most never get shared! Photo Dare helps you rediscover, relive, and share them.
• Interesting stories in your photos are just waiting to be shared with friends!

PRIVACY FIRST
• Your content starts out locked – others only see it if you want them to.
• Made something with a friend? You BOTH must unlock it for it to be shared.

WELCOME TO A SAFE SPACE
• This is an alternative social space aiming to build a healthier environment.
• We emphasize authenticity: “this brings the fun aspect of sharing your photos without that pressure of it needing to look a certain way and get likes” – Julia S.
• Share your life stories, no matter how big or small.
• Enjoy a space where privacy is respected, and real connections flourish.

Everyday life is interesting, and your life has a place here too: sign up, and start sharing the unscripted side of your life!
