I've tried many file sharing apps such as Mi Share, Zapya, Send Anywhere etc. but all of them ask for tons of unnecessary permissions and the speed is mostly awful with multiple failed attempts. This is probably the only app which asked for bare minimum permission and the speed is shockingly fast. It took lees than 5 minutes for me to send a 5 GB file which usually takes more than 20–25 minutes through Send Anywhere. I would love to donate the developer to keep the project alive.

Photon is my favorite file transfer app right now, but please make a search feature in 'Apps' section to search between installed apps as it's really hard to find one app if you have a lot of apps installed.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Easy and very convenient to connect as and share files between my mobile and Laptop. PS: If it fails to send from Windows to Android, toggle the 'Enable HTTPS' option.

I can send file from android to pc but not vice-versa i.I can't send files from pc to android it won't show up

1. Unable to transfer more than 1gb file, always failed 2. Folder transfer not available

Unfortunately only one phone can receive from the other. If I reverse the operation the 2nd phone can't detect receive. (one act as a Hotspot and the other is the client)

The worst is that if both mobiles are connected to the same Wi-Fi then it does nothing and shows an error that your mobile sim is not connected to Wi-Fi.
