One of the major problems with this game is this.... While the blocks shrink to half size when you go over the line, I don't think the strength of their physics force is divided in half. Which it should be. Because I think this is what accounts for the unpredictable behavior of the system once you've laid down a bunch of layers. Other than that, fascinating game!

Slow Controls The user input is delayed due to the heavy math being done for collision. This results in delayed controls in a time based game, which is extremely frustrating. Otherwise this would be a fun game.
