PI Calculation

The “PI Calculation” app allows you to explore the fascinating world of calculating the mathematical constant π (pi) using various algorithms. This educational app not only lets you perform your own calculations but also helps you understand the principles behind different historical and modern calculation methods.

Main features:

• Algorithm selection: Choose from a variety of algorithms, such as the Gregory-Leibniz series, Nilakantha series, Monte Carlo method, Vieta’s formula, Gauss-Legendre algorithm, Ramanujan’s formulas, Chudnovsky algorithm, and more. Each algorithm offers different convergence speed and accuracy.
• Progress visualization: Watch the precision of π gradually improve with each iteration. The app displays the number of iterations per second, the current number of decimal places, and the result’s accuracy.
• Precision settings: Users can set their desired calculation precision, up to thousands of decimal places, depending on the selected algorithm.
• Interactive user interface: An intuitive interface that makes it easy to monitor results and calculation speed in real-time.
• Info section: Each algorithm comes with its own information section, where you’ll find details about its history, calculation principles, and interesting facts. Learn how historical figures like Gregory, Leibniz, or Ramanujan contributed to the calculation of this famous constant.
• Pi facts: In addition to calculations, the app also includes fun facts about π, its history, uses in nature and culture, including a section on the famous Feynman point and Pi Day celebrations.

This app is ideal not only for math enthusiasts but also for students and teachers who want to better understand the significance and various methods of calculating this fundamental constant.
