It just works, I have not had a problem after using it for several years. I play prerecorded music that I have loaded on to my phone. I used to listen to it for 6 hours plus per night while being the housekeeper at a VA hospital working in a mental health facility while it was deserted at night. After some experimentation I used JBL Clip3 speakers. They sounded great!

I tried several apps with higher star ratings. Some didn't do landscape, some went off for ages and ages scanning for music. This one just worked straight away and in landscape mode. I have my music arranged in folders like genre/artist/album. This player works really well with my scheme. There is one problem which is NOT the fault of Pi Music Player: if you are using another app which starts to do and advert the music pauses. When the advert has finished you have to swipe down and tap play.

I remember the first lauched of PI Music player, that time I was very happy because there were no ads pop up and recently add/most play/recently play/pop song/rock Playlist etc. were there. But now 2023 totally vanished away all the main features. Bye ² Sorry PI music.🙏

Tracker central... Though it works reasonably as a music player, that doesn't warrant the disturbing fact that this app is continually making tracking attempts and sending background data to both Facebook and verizon media, neither of which I have signed up for nor consented to give access to my device. To me that defines Spyware rather than a valid honest app.
