Comments on PictoScanner for Android

★★★★★ Ray Robinson · May 24, 2021

Works well, easy to use. Amazing how many idiots there are out there. It's so obvious how to use, you really don't need instructions!

★★★★★ elisabeth orsini · Feb 13, 2021

Really impressed and simple to use. My negatives are more than 30 years old but considering this the quality is much better than I expected and there are editing facilities. NB I am not a professional.

★★★★☆ Jaroslav Gergic · Apr 17, 2021

Works as advertised, the scans seem to be good quality. I would welcome to be able to set some presets to make scanning a series of pictures faster. Crop is missing the 35 mm film native 3:2 / 2:3 preset as an option.

A copy of the Kodak scanner, doesn't convert neg to pos

★★☆☆☆ A Google user · Feb 28, 2019

The app is tricky to get a good scan regarding the color and crashes every time you attempt to use the editing tools

★☆☆☆☆ Simon Frithjof Schierbeck · Mar 12, 2017

Crashes when choosing one of the two negative options. Have talked to the company about it, but nothing has happened yet. I'm using a Huawei P9 with latest software.

★★☆☆☆ Carl-Magnus Dumell · Mar 12, 2023

I bought the PictoScanner hardware and used it together with this app. The hardware is simple and the app is even simpler, lacking almost all features. I got better results with the stock camera app. This solution is simple and quick but the quality is not very good.
