Fantastic app for learning language in a useful way rather than just learning individual words. It would be better if the lessons showed the words on the screen, so you can read the words while hearing the teacher say them. Also, the flash cards don't seem to match the lesson you're currently working on. Otherwise, it's a brilliant app, I use it daily to learn Italian.

This method really helps me to IMMEDIATELY internalize everything taught in each lesson. There are times when I think I should repeat a lesson, but when I do the supplemental flash cards, voice coach, quick match, speed round and conversation coach, the things I missed in the audio lessons are then internalized and what I already got becomes reinforced immediately. I really love how quickly I'm speaking Spanish and appreciate the pressure to speak that each and every lesson puts on the learner.

Pimsleur Thai has not been updated recently. The current Level 1 course, consisting of 30 lessons (approximately 16 hours of audio), was released in August 2010 and has not seen significant content updates in over a decade.

Me personally I was using it for korean, and they completely butcher the Romanization, this is the one time I'm happy there's a paywall to help me away from that, for me even duolingo for korean has better Romanization than this app, and it doesn't teach you the korean alphabet, so you have to stick with their butchered Romanization, I wanted to give this app a try, but I was disappointed by the lack of alphabet lessons for the korean alphabet and the lack of korean on screen, do better.

I began learning Spanish as a second language in 5th grade and every year till college. Never in all that time was I taught in such a nonsensical, confusing, and strange way. Every time I see this app being promoted, it just annoys me. I recommend you don't waste your time here and just avoid it like the plague.
