PinboardPairings gives you a tactile, offline way to plan casual gatherings without calendars, accounts, or clutter. The app turns every event idea into a pastel invitation card pinned to a soft fabric memo board. Its main screen shows a full linen-textured board where you see stitched ribbon counters for your total gatherings and upcoming events this month. Two upcoming gathering cards are automatically pinned below the counters, giving you an immediate snapshot of what is next. You switch between sections using a bottom row of colored pushpin tabs, each pulling slightly outward when active. The Cards tab arranges every gathering you have ever created into a scrollable grid of invitation cards, each showing its title, date, and event type. A long press on any card lets you remove it instantly, keeping your board tidy and relevant. The New Pin screen presents a blank invitation card pinned center-stage with simple fields for title, date, type, and an optional guest count. After you save a gathering, the form clears and you return straight to the board so you can see your new card pinned in place. The Lookup tab works like a pinned magnifying glass, letting you search by title and showing matching results as smaller pinned notes without any reload delay. Every invitation card carries a pastel envelope flap and a wax seal dot that changes color to reflect the event status, such as red for today, green for upcoming, or a softly folded corner for past gatherings. All your data stays securely on your device using local storage, so your planning remains private and available even without a connection. Empty boards display a single pushpin holding a small cursive note that gently encourages you to plan your first gathering, never overwhelming you with empty frames or instructions. The app supports creating, editing, searching, and deleting gatherings through a clean, immediate interface that feels like moving real paper on fabric. Whether you are hosting a dinner party, organizing game night with friends, or sketching out a casual meetup, PinboardPairings keeps the planning experience visual, calm, and entirely in your hands.
