I have had Pin Pal for many years and absolutely LOVE IT! I use it to track stats and trends between different dates, leagues and centers. This helps to understand what parts of my game needs work. I highly recommend Pin Pal as an inexpensive, easy to use, detailed bowling learning tool.

Great app! Use it every time I bowl. One feature that I think would be amazing to add would be a lane number(s) section for the date input. I would like to track scores on certain league pairs I struggle on, so I can make notes on how to better attack the pair.

The app is decent enough, but it does not calculate open frames and thus clean games correctly. If you are clean through the first 9 frames and go X9- in the tenth frame that would be a clean game because you have now marked in all 10 frames regardless of what you do on the fill shots, but the app counts it as an open. If this gets fixed I'd give it 4 stars.

Great app, but you lose everything if you get a new phone. I love the app and had 3 years of bowling data across multiple leagues and tournaments, but had to get a new phone and either phone had a SD card. I saved the backup file, but you are not able to load it into the app on the new device. So much for tracking data for 3 years 😡. I will be looking for an app that can save in the cloud or have some better way to move data to a new phone so all my tracking isn't lost when I get a new phone.

I was using this app on an iPhone and switched to an android phone however the iPhone file is not compatible with the android app requiring me to start from scratch or continue using the iPhone. Definitely not happy about that. Overall the app works well, but this is a huge flaw.
