I like the UI more than the other popular beer app, and the fact that you can quickly create a page for a beer not yet in the database is great. However, I find the amount of info on beers and the general structure of the app quite limited, only basic info and photo + ratings, that's pretty much it. Also, on the brewery page you can't tap on a beer and see its page with a picture close-up. More work to be done to make it "THE beer app".

I have been using this app for about 2 1/2 years to keep track of beers that I like, and beers that I don’t like, so I don’t have to purchase beers that I don’t like again. Today, all those beers that were in my bio are gone, and apparently no way for me to reinstate them. Now I have to start over again Which I am not happy about What’s up with that? Update, the apps' customer support was very helpful with helping me resolve this issue. Turns out, I in inadvertently registered as another user. All is good again. Great app!

Edit: Tried the 2.0. I love minimalism, but maybe this is too minimal. What I dislike the most is that the app lists the "beers" from restaurants that are no longer there, based only on what others have tasted long ago. Not very useful for me. Use Untapped instead, it rocks! My 2015 era review: Have been giving this app a chance, but I see absolutely no reason to use it. Lacking useful features, messy UI, lots of bugs. Untapped import could help, but I still find Pint Please unsatisfying at the moment. Give me something real and I'll come back. Nothing personal.

Cool app but there has to be a feature to block users!! Spam likers are the worst. I hate the because of that but love the beer part. App is as good as users and the users are mainly behaving badly by spam.
