Better than the official Playoff app. I use this to control my Pioneer Elite speaker, because I like the preset buttons (can we have more speakers with preset buttons please?). Those can't be controlled with the main playoff app because they have updated-it-out. This app has an older version of the Playoff software, and is thus much better than the current Playoff app from Chorus, which keeps downgrading things, introducing bugs, and bricking speakers.

Pioneer and onkyo must be financially broke, or abandoned play fi going forward. Neither has updated to the current play fi app standard since sept 2019. Have the pioneer f4 speaker. The device firmware does update, but you must use the native play fi or phorus like app to accomplish. The f4 does not behave has well as the similar phorus p5....especially with Alexa.
