Excellent work, makes adding photos to our Piwigo server from phones trivial. Great job, can't wait for the paid, ad free version. Also, could you add a dark theme? One problem, on a Pixel XL on Oreo, gallery thumbnails don't appear and aren't clickable (nothing happens). Since I only use this for uploading, it doesn't affect me, but that is a pretty big bug. If it matters, my server is behind an nginx reverse proxy with SSL.

I have 2 issues. I read the reviews and these convinced me to purchase the paid version. However, paying by giving Google my payment details I won't ever do, so I downloaded the free version to be able to write and ask for an alternative payment method, and (2) after I had personalized the settings it turned out the app doesn't work without filling out what server to connect to. I've never been nerdy enough to occupy myself with such IT hassle as all other apps work without it. Please advice thx

How do I give the app permissions to the Local File System to upload pictures from my camera on Android? I have been a Piwigo Client user for years, and now can't upload pictures from my mobile app. EDIT- Author immediately responded and discussed issue and provided a number of options to correct the issue. Updated to 4 stars for the excellent response.

App is difficult to use. Non intuitive. Possibly as it's slow to respond. Can't get out of file upload screen. Only way I've found is to furtle to get os controls up & close app. Ads way too intrusive and close to action buttons so with big thumbs like me you're forever closing a browser. Sorry, just too hard to be useful. Yes it all takes time &effort but on the basis of this trial, not minded to buy. Remember piwigo is free & browser is OK on Android so what are app benefits over this?

More options than the official client, but you give up speed and liberty. This app is slower, you don't get as much zoom, it's loaded with ads unless you pay the outrageous $5 for the paid version, the EULA is very strict and gives no notice of change. Overall, the official client is a better option. It's free, ad-free, fast, and doesn't have a ridiculous EULA. RE: According to your EULA you can change it at any time and any "material" changes you'll give 0 days notice. Material being undefined.
